If you see Chrome disabling https SSL scanning, this guide might help.
I was developing an ASP.Net MVC5 cyberspace application up my sleeve and my local development machine’s certificate errors (IISExpress certificate) became a practical issue when I started working as a high-risk duty officer. Chrome just didn’t save my artboard due to an identity error. Done,
However, I noticed that in my new automatic browser tests, Selenium Chrome simply “ignores” all of these different types of problems (for example, a site warning URL on an insecure site), so I wondered: how is that? no questions Does Selenium Chrome run to run our tests, and can this also fix the Service Worker issue?
Using Process Explorer on Windows, I was able to find the command line arguments that Selenium uses to launch Chrome:
"C:Program Files (x86)GoogleChromeApplicationchrome.exe" --disable-background-networking --disable-default-apps --disable-client-side-phishing- Detection --disable-hang-monitor --disable-popup-blocking --disable-prompt-on-repost --disable-sync --disable-web-resources --enable-automation --enable-logging --force- fieldtrials=SiteIsolationExtensions/Control --ignore-certificate-errors --log-level=0 --metrics-recording-only --no-first-run --password-store=basic --remote-debugging-port=12207 - -safebrowsing-disable-auto-update --test-type=webdriver --use-mock-keychain --user-data-dir="C:UsersSamAppDataLocalTempsome-non-existent- directory data",
Here’s a set of settings that I haven’t tested for necessity, but when I run Chrome this way, my service rep signs in and works as expected.
The only thing that seems to matter is the –user-data-dir option, which unfortunately can be set to non-existent free info to work (it won’t work if it doesn’t. You specify the option ).
Hope this helps someone with a similar problem. I’m using Chrome 60.0.3112.90.
